NWMSU Museums to hold March Madness naming bracket

MARYVILLE, Mo. - In the spirit of March Madness, some Northwest Missouri State University students want you to pick the name of a dinosaur. For decades now, Northwest has had the bones of a 22-foot long Mososaurus in it's hands.

For hundreds, if not thousands of hours, students and faculty have been doing restoration work on the dinosaur and believe that they are now just a few years away from completing it.

Northwest Student and Museum Attendant Natalie Cote told KXCV/KRNW that's why they have a list of names set-up in a bracket for the public to vote on so that the dinosaur has a name by the time it's completed.

You can participate in the March Madness voting by going to nw_museums on Twitter and picking a name you think is fitting for a dinosaur.
